This is Graxyl Thrbgt, Pollination Technician, reporting regarding UB-20115 (Altair Project). Our initial goal in UB-20115 was to accomplish complete genetic transformation from Terran to Uxarian using standard pollination methods. The following is a summary of our findings at this time.

Subject Altair-001. Terran name: Alex Altair. We have decided to label all resultant creations of this project in numeric order using the tag 'Altair' for simplicity in tracking genetic bonds. As we have established from our frequent tests in Strangetown, Terrans are ideal hosts for injection of genetic material from our Pollination Technician department. They incubate within three days, at which point the evacuation sequence expels the infant in a safe and orderly manner. We decided on incubating this particular Terran after a designator beam from his ground surveillance apparatus registered a hit on our ship, thus giving the saucer a lock-on point for automated pickup.

Altair-001 seems to be an especially inquisitive member of his species, dedicating his life to the pursuit of Knowledge. For the purpose of our mission, it is very fortunate that he is interested in our existence and not likely to directly act against us or otherwise interfere with our plans. He is an intelligent and educated member of his species, and as such is perhaps only 30% inferior to our common citizenry. We have successfully incubated test subjects within Altair-001 on two separate occasions.

Subject Altair-002. Terran name: Betty Altair. Although to most appearances she is a fine example of Uxarian heritage, her eyes in particular are most troubling for their unnatural, Terranlike structure. Intellect is already higher than Terran base levels for her maturity point, and bound to increase further. However, our Manipulator Satellite is having difficulty in registering any sort of direct control over Altair-002; we are unsure whether this is some form of genetic anomoly in the stored pollination materials or a byproduct of this particular union. If this finding is replicatable, this would have great impact on the future of the Uxarian Empire.

Subject Altair-003. Terran name not yet determined. We are anxiously awaiting Altair-003's emergence and development to alpha-level intellect in order to determine whether Altair-002 is a genetic quirk or a replicatable effect, and should be receiving further information soon.

Our experiment is still only beginning, but already we have uncovered aberrant findings that must be investigated. Please advise on further actions.

Experiment priority has been upgraded from class 5 priority to class 4 based on available evidence. We do not wish to draw military attention at this time after the fiasco in Strangetown. We urge that stealth be given maximum priority in regards to this operation. As such, your new orders are as follows:

* Establish a beachhead in the neighborhood of the Altair Project.
* Conceal this beachhead under an innocuous guise so as not to attract attention.
* Send Automatons to perform ground surveillance of area and handle Terran interference

At no time should you or your assistant be seen directly by the subjects of the experiment, under any circumstance.
