The Neutral
Physical Description: Thirties, though he looks younger, thin but muscular, graceful, almost always wears a black suit with broad shoulders when seen at the club. Black hair and piercing brown eyes.
In-Game Knowledge: E does not talk about his background. Ever. If it becomes relevant and if he discloses more of it, it will be listed here. He is the owner of the Requiem, and manipulator of many things.

The Doctor
Name: Dr. Nicholas Browning
Physical Description: Nicholas is about 6'2, and muscular from practicing martial arts and a strenuous workout routine. He has jet black hair, and sad dark eyes.
In-Game Knowledge: Nicholas grew up in a small town in North Carolina, to a stable Roman Catholic family. He spent his entire life there, attending catholic school, and a private Catholic college, and the nearby medical school. Moving to New York is a way for him to start over, and to get away from the memories he wishes to forget in North Carolina. During college and medical school, he studied mythology, anthropology and ancient texts. After discovering the truth about occultism, however, his sanity degraded as he began to perform sick and twisted experiments on his family members, until he was eventually stopped by an auto accident that resulted in the Guardians getting hold of him.

Mrs. Elaine Peabody
Name: Mrs. Elaine Peabody
Physical Description: Sweet old lady,
very friendly.
In-Game Knowledge: Mrs. Peabody is the owner of Whitetail Grove, and went to visit relatives shortly before the building exploded, at the polite urging of Eddie Lancaster. She has not been seen or heard from since the incident.
Metagame Knowledge: Mrs. Peabody is reasonably safe (at the moment) though likely out of play for some time, if not forever. During the Beach Trip characters made, Martin did get in contact with Mrs. Peabody, tell her about the incident (in a slightly slanted manner), and advise her on her insurance options and precautions to take.

Mitzi
Name: Mitzi
Physical Description: A small, yappy dog.
In-Game Knowledge: Mitzi is Mrs. Peabody's pet dog, and is very curious. She is a house dog, and is not allowed outside, or in washing machines, under any circumstances.
Metagame Knowledge: Mitzi is currently living safely with Mrs. Peabody.

David Davis
Physical Description: The ghost of a 19-year-old, brother to George 'Juice' Davis.
In-Game Knowledge: David is presently haunting Martin and Juice; he seems to appear most frequently to Juice, but lately, there hasn't been much seen of him lately...
Metagame Knowledge: David only appears when there is a serious emotional disturbance in Juice's life, either from Juice himself or a significant concentration of other emotional forces.

Diana Lance

Description: A young, fairly attractive girl with a very flirtatious nature and bright purple hair.
In-Game Knowledge: Diana is a young quasi-psychic, and Jess's best friend. She works for the Guardians as an office temp, and has not yet been replaced by a Guardian or transformed into one herself.
Metagame Knowledge: Diana has a few secrets to hide, and is currently in a temporary Guardian office while her employers decide what to do with her.

Benny Fine

Description: Benny is a somewhat greasy-looking man in his mid-thirties or so, who often rubs his hands together as he discusses business.
In-Game Knowledge: Benny owns a pawnshop in the Bronx called The Golden Coin. He buys goods for a fair price, no questions asked, and resells them at a markup. Benny also tends to keep his ear to the ground, frequently providing a contact point for various thugs and malcontents and those looking to hire such.
Metagame Knowledge: Benny has served as a contact between the Guardians and the underworld in the past. He is willing to sell anything, to anybody, as long as the price is right.
Current Status: Still in business.

Vaguely Asian, early twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Lou is an employee of E's and close associate of Eddie's, and likes making Slurpees with bizarre flavors and building explosive devices. His best friend is Arthur Leone, and the two of them are often seen together hitting on women. Lou hates the Ice Capades, and secretly wants to blow them up.
Metagame Knowledge: Lou had a small clown pin named Mr. Chuckles, that talks to him and occasionally suggests that he do certain things, but he has passed it on to 'Kya', who he's been spending a lot of time around. Considering no sex is involved, it's a rare experience for him. Lou thinks that Art may have had sex with his mother (at least once); the fact that Lou's mother was a prostitute and slut makes this a distinct possibility.

Art Leone

Arthur 'Art' Leone

Description: A mellow-looking man in his early twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Art Leone is Lou's best friend, the slightly older, more sane of the pair. He enjoys burning things, blowing stuff up, and the occasional good movie.
Metagame Knowledge: Art is the person who arranges deals for himself and Lou, including mercenary demolitions work and other less scrupulous activities. Art is actually very compassionate, but this tends to remain hidden under his usual mildly sexist attitude. Art often talks about one of them owing the other a small amount of money ($5, $10, or $20, usually); whether either of them actually 'owes' the other is questionable. Art and Lou are listed in the TWINUTS system as professional arsonists/bombers for hire.
Current Status: Living at the Requiem with Lou.
Name: Jacques Renoir
Physical Description: A clean-cut Guardian who looks vaguely French.
In-Game Knowledge: Jacques Renoir is a bit jealous of Martin, and not-so-secretly wishes he was the office golden boy instead. Jacques claims to be from Quebec, and speaks with a French accent. His office is on the 11th floor of Freedom Tower.
Metagame Knowledge: Jacques' original name was Jack Reynolds; he changed it when he moved to Quebec for the first ten years of his undead existence, trying to pick up women. It didn't work well. Jacques is very bad at relationships, but has a strong romantic urge. He doesn't trust humans because they tend to break his heart, fickle beings that they are. Jacques has been adopted into the Fifth Column after a recent string of unfortunate events made him feel less than comfortable about the work situation he was in.
Current Status: Guardian-NY Media Relations Advisor.
Constanphos
Name: Constanphos
Physical Description: Appears to be a very tall man in his early twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Constanphos used to be the chief of Guardian Operations in NYC. As such, he was always on the lookout for trouble in his city, so that he could order his subordinates to do something about it yesterday. His offices were on the 22nd floor, though he could frequently be found all over the tower, inspiring his workers to work harder for the cause. After R3 took a few rockets to his office, he was announced dead.
Metagame Knowledge: Constanphos survived, but decided to retire from Guardian life and was last seen as Leroy Brown in Sydney, Australia.
Current Status: Retired.
Sister Mary Leondra
Name: Sister Mary Leondra
Physical Description: A nun in her mid-fifties or so.
In-Game Knowledge: Sister Mary Leondra has been the Dean of Academics at St Mary's/St Dom's for seven years. Originally hailing from Petersburg, MI, she studied philosophy at the University of Michigan, and divinity at St John's. She is fluent in seven languages and among her other duties, is the head of the school's outstanding ESL program.
Metagame Knowledge: Sister Mary is due for reassignment by her Order in two years, though she may not leave for some time after that.
Current Status: Alive and well.
Father Mbutu
Name: Father Eliphas Mbutu
Physical Description: Black male, mid-sixties, relaxed with a deep booming voice.
In-Game Knowledge: Father Mbutu has been the headmaster of St Dom's/St Mary's for nearly twenty years. Originally from Nigeria, Fr Mbutu has focused on education and youth programs for the majority of his 40 years in service to his Order. He has twice turned down appointments to a higher position within the Church, citing his desire to continue the work at hand at the school.
Metagame Knowledge: Father Mbutu is actively aware of the Guardians and their threat to humanity, and is doing his best to subtly school the students of St. Dom's/St. Mary's, to prepare them for what's coming.

Ewan McIntyre
Name: Ewan McIntyre
Physical Description: A close-shaven man in his late twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Mr. McIntyre has replaced Dr. Lars Jackson as Guardian Liaison to the school. He is a native of Edinburgh, Scotland, and has resided in the metropolitan area for the past 5 years.
Metagame Knowledge: Ewan is also a member of the Fifth Column, and is responsible for assuring that as little information as is safe to disperse escapes from St. Dom's/St. Mary's to be reported to the Guardians. He is somewhat aware of the secrets held by the church, and does his best to keep as unaware of it as possible.

Rafe Boesen
Name: Rafe Boesen

Description: Pale, almost twenty with long hair and a flippant demeanor.
In-Game Knowledge: Rafe was formerly an underground actor (and bicycle messenger), but after a raid of the theater where he'd taken to living, he sold out his friends and the girl he loved to keep from dying - and was transformed into a ghoul as 'thanks' for his treachery. He died shortly afterwards, professing his love to Becky, during an ambush intended for the Prophet and the Slayer.
Metagame Knowledge: Rafe asked to be killed, and Angel obliged by shooting him in the head with a flare gun.

Physical Description: Girl in her early twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Emily presently lives at the Requiem with her boyfriend, Nyll, having gone underground during the Great Blackout when Nyll decided he really didn't want to pretend to be 'Alexander Harrisburg' anymore. She used to work at the Java the Hut, but presently works as a maintenance person at the Requiem, and is a second-year student at Columbia University majoring in economics (although now she takes courses online.)

TJ Merril
Name: TJ (Teresa Jane) Merril
Physical Description: Girl in her early twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: TJ (Theresa Jane) Merril was born in a small town in Georgia, but wanted to go away to the Big Apple for college. She lives with her boyfriend, Tony, at the Requiem, and works there as a maintenance person. She also is an English major at Columbia University (taking online courses.)

Dude
Physical Description: A laid-back vampire.
In-Game Knowledge: Dude was the unofficial 'leader' of a trio of three vampires that had been living at the Silverman crypt in Mt. Hebron. Dude is a hippie, and would rather order his blood from the Requiem's bar than fight for it. He, Fred, and Nyll are presently living within the safety of the Requiem.
Current Status: Undead and somewhat edgy.
Fred
Physical Description: A muscular vampire.
In-Game Knowledge: Fred was the most aggressive of the vampire trio - though most of his aggression is reserved for yelling when something annoys him, or complaining about how back in 'Nam, they didn't do things this way. Whether or not he has any actual combat experience is questionable. Fred has gone underground at the Requiem with Dude and Nyll.
Current Status: Undead and somewhat edgy.
Nyll

Physical Description: An edgy vampire.
In-Game Knowledge: Nyll is the most timid of the vampire trio. Only 15 when he was vamped, he's always been the weakest undead link. He tends to get nervous, and is afraid of a lot of things.
Metagame Knowledge: Nyll was recruited by the Guardians, and had been pretending to be a human named Alexander Harrisburg. However, he decided to run away from his obligations during the Great Blackout, when it seemed least likely that anyone would figure out what he was doing, and returned with Emily to his vampiric friends. Nyll is capable of touching holy objects and being in holy places without fear or pain.
Current Status: Undead and terrified.
Yansa Delacroix

In-Game Knowledge: One of the mysterious guests at The Requiem, her face is always veiled. She has a connection to Richard Knight, and was responsible for bringing him to meet the current Slayer. She is self-assured and confident, and loves dancing with Gregory.
Metagame Knowledge: Yansa is the Orisha of Oya, and as such has power over the forces of death and wind. She is more powerful when with her husband, and has lived through many reincarnations. Yansa has adopted E as a son, and conferred upon him control over her area of expertise.

In-Game Knowledge: Naomi is a Stepford Project, an altered human being meant to serve the Guardians as a playtoy and personal servant. She was originally given to Martin, and a brutal checklist of tests was conducted on her 'in a home environment'. Eventually, she was entrusted to Martin's long-term care, and since has begun to develop an awareness of her state of wrongness. She currently lives at the Requiem, trying to figure out what she is going to do with her life.
Metagame Knowledge: Naomi Walker had been a member of a resistance movement before her capture and conversion to Stepford status; she was also romantically involved with Lars at the time. Eddie is working on minimizing the effects of the chips until such time as they can be removed, but the alterations to her body are likely to be permanent.
Current Status: Hiding at the Requiem.
Irving Zamora

In-Game Knowledge: A 25 year old man, deeply devoted to his religion. He lived with other members of his church outside of the city.
Metagame Knowledge: Irving was actually the leader of a cult of Guardian worship, that performed human sacrifices in the woods outside of New York City. His career came to an abrupt end when, after stabbing his second-in-command, he was shot by Vito.

Izzy

Somewhat vacant and easily dominated, blonde hair, always dressed in white robes.
In-Game Knowledge: Irving's most devoted follower, she was almost completely subservient to his will. When she began to speak back to her superior over whose fault it had been to keep Becky captive, he stabbed her.
Metagame Knowledge: After being rescued by Vito, she threatened continuously to return and finish the job that she had failed to perform, upon which point, Vito eventually decided enough was enough and shot her.
Current Status: Deceased.
Dalton
Physical Description: A bald gentleman in his late forties.
In-Game Knowledge: Dalton is the leader of the Fifth Column in LA, and he and Martin are in occasional contact to discuss business.
Current Status: Still in action.
Kit Bothwell
Physical Description: Somewhat unshaven, decently dressed.
Current Status: Alive and happy.
Physical Description: Young woman in her late teens, with long black hair.
Metagame Knowledge: India's soul was trapped in a sword for the duration of her death, resulting in a rather disturbing 'afterlife' experience. She is still somewhat traumatized by the experience.
Greg Larson

Description: 19-year-old kid with a scar across his left shoulder.
In-Game Knowledge: Greg Larson is the bass guitarist in The Last Resort, Val and Angel's band, and is the adoptive son of Xavier and Sian Holderan. He is currently living in the Requiem with his band.
Metagame Knowledge: Greg's grandfather has bequeathed to him a legendary sword that has been in the family for a very long time, a sword blessed against evil.
Current Status: Alive and still playing.
Sian Holderan
Physical Description: Lovely and gentle Chinese woman.
In-Game Knowledge: Sian Wu is a doctor who works at the Requiem's infirmary, and the adopted mother of Greg Larson.
Metagame Knowledge: Sian's family has a peculiar secret -- it is actually a line of demonslayers dating back... well, quite a long time.
Current Status: Alive.
Xavier Holderan
Physical Description: A burly man with a stern expression.
In-Game Knowledge: Xavier Holderan is a veteran police officer who transferred about a year ago to New York with his family. He is a calm, reasonable man who doesn't seem to mind the doldrums of street patrols and paperwork. He currently lives at the Requiem with his family, and assists in maintaining the shooting range's weaponry.
Metagame Knowledge: Xavier is perfectly aware of the darker side of the world, and has spent many nights talking with Sian's grandfather about it.
Current Status: Alive.
Grandfather Wu
Physical Description: An elderly Chinese man.
In-Game Knowledge: Samuel Wu is Sian's grandfather (though Greg calls him Honorable Grandfather). He is deeply interested in feng shui and personal balance, and is surprisingly agile for an old man. He currently lives at the Requiem with his family, and most enjoys the Buddhist Temple room.
Metagame Knowledge: Grandfather Wu was also a perfectly active demonslayer, from his childhood (at the World's Fair in 1939, when his father died and passed on the sword) until recently, when he passed the family honor onto Greg.
Current Status: Alive.
Corey Clark and
Robert Douglas
Physical Description: Two physicians in their mid-twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Corey Clark and Robert Douglas were two physicians working at Olympic Park Infirmary - at least, until the group raided the place, and demonstrated the joy of Guardians to them while they were there. Now they work at the Requiem Infirmary instead.
Current Status: On call.
Physical Description: A Costa Rican football (soccer player).
In-Game Knowledge: Oscar Jimenez was formerly a guard on the Costa Rican Olympic football team, but a leg sprain landed him in the infirmary. Unfortunately, the group raided the infirmary then, and took him with them after a somewhat halted conversation.
Current Status: Somewhere at the Requiem.
Name: Mitros
Physical Description: An eight-foot tall Guardian, who usually dresses in suits with a heavy overcoat that helps to conceal the sword he carries.
In-Game Knowledge: Mitros was responsible for killing Slayers by any means necessary, but his preferred method of finishing them off entailed impaling them on his sword, and using it to capture their souls. However, during a final encounter in which the sword was to be used to open a gate to the Elder Realm, Mitros was defeated in a hail of rocket fire.
Current Status: Deceased.
Dime, Splatter,
and Kath
(Ill Wind)
Physical Description: Three vampire musicians, a bit on the goth side.
In-Game Knowledge: These three musicians are contractually employed by the Requiem, and generally play as an opening act thereabouts. Dime has an obvious interest in Val, and has recognized her as the Slayer; the two of them exchange occasional bits of witty banter and friendly conversation whenever they are about. Dime's actual name is John Novel.
Current Status: Clubbin' it.
Physical Description: A tall gentleman, vaguely Arabic.
In-Game Knowledge: Kahlib is one of Constanphos's hired killers, and has been responsible for several unfortunate events, including the murder of various homeless women and the destruction of the Golden Fields Dojo. For a time, Kahlib presented himself as a Watcher in order to get close to the then-'Slayer', Morrigan; after Morrigan stopped meeting with Kahlib, Kahlib dropped the facade and resumed his usual activities. Kahlib presently has a sidekick in the form of Jasmine Kim, former Olympian, Fleetwood Project and tae-kwon-do combatant turned vampire.
Metagame Knowledge: Kahlib believes that he is exceptionally cultured and intelligent, and tends to present himself as performing truly honorable and noble services; a fanatic of sorts for his cause, he is very dedicated and methodical when the situation calls for it. Kahlib also has the tendency to create specialized 'vampires' for certain occasions; these ghoulesques are usually excellent in one area to the exclusion of others. Kahlib is presently employed in Canada.
Current Status: Havin' a bit of fun up north, eh?
Name: Jasmine Kim
Physical Description: A highly athletic woman in her mid-twenties.
In-Game Knowledge: Jasmine Kim was formerly the foremost Tae-kwon-do Olympian in her weight classification. However, during the period leading up to the Olympics, she exhibited several aspects of unusual behavior (strong bloodlust and berserk frenzy among them), and is currently a vampire.
Metagame Knowledge: Jasmine was sired by Kahlib shortly after her defeat in the finals; she is very touchy about this loss (on a technicality), and is extremely competitive and violent in nature. She is almost always near Kahlib, and has a fierce sense of loyalty to him.
Current Status: In Canada with Kahlib, eh?
In-Game Knowledge: Richard Knight is a vampire with a mysterious history that he seldom talks about. He is best known for being the leader of the Knight and Dei Detective Agency, which existed in Chicago in the early 30s and eventually moved to New York in the later 30s. Richard has been grieving for over 70 years over the loss of his friends and is pleasantly surprised to have them back.
Metagame Knowledge: de'Medici Models is currently occupying the office that Knight and Dei had been operating from in New York.
Current Status: Undead and well.
In-Game Knowledge: Sally Newman was the Slayer between the years of 1933 and 1939; however, her sacrifice to prevent a portal of darkness from opening sealed her and her friends within time, until they were eventually released by the actions of people in 2012. Now, as one of the few living Slayers around - and still surprised there's more than one herself - Sally is doing her best to fight the good fight and get out of a perpetual state of culture shock.
Metagame Knowledge: Sally was an aspiring newsgirl before the upset of her life; she is still deeply inquisitive, and is spending her spare time trying to figure out the secrets of the Requiem.
Current Status: Still slayin' 'em.
(Solar Power)
In-Game Knowledge: Rainbow and Sunbeam are performers at the Requiem, and are generally happy and cheerful sorts. Although they have yet to find their musical niche, they never give up, and they always try their best. They are friendly and caring and considerate... and they are also devoted to E.
Metagame Knowledge: Rainbow and Sunbeam were originally Payne and Darknyss, a goth pair that performed at the club, until the Guardians decided to hypnotize them into murdering E's woman with poisoned crossbow bolts. After 'discussing' matters with them, the two got a serious attitude (and physique - one of them used to be male) adjustment, and are now part of E's defensive force, with their sunny demeanor and sunnier compacts.
Current Status: Sunshiney and preparing for the tour.
Name: Bartholomew Regal
In-Game Knowledge: Bart is one of the bartenders at the Requiem, and also works as a mage -- providing magical assistance with
keeping the enchantments running, the divinations divining, and the club in general running smoothly. Bart's dating history is somewhat sketchy, but at the moment, he's most often seeing a girl named Emily.
Metagame Knowledge: Bart plans on opening a magic store eventually, if the heat in New York cools off enough. He is also involved in Requiem Idol, for his own reasons.
Current Status: Recovering from severe lead poisoning.
In-Game Knowledge: Danielle is a psychometrist - a person who gathers feelings from the environment. She has a mild amount of magical talent, as well, and also helps out in the magic end of things. She seldom emerges in the club area, and doesn't usually talk to others; thus, little else is known about her.
Metagame Knowledge: Danielle is one of Bart's friends from their days as part of a larger coven-like group, before Guardian oppression forced them to flee here.
Current Status: Alive and working.
Name: Seraphine
In-Game Knowledge: Seraphine is a mage of the Requiem, and also an accomplished percussionist and dancer. She is very graceful and lithe, and very beautiful. She rarely heads out into the club area, and doesn't usually talk to others.
Metagame Knowledge: Seraphine is another of Bart's friends from their coven days, and is an accomplished spellcaster. She is also a compulsive flirt.
Current Status: On the job.
In-Game Knowledge: Rudolph is one of the chefs at the Requiem, and has a clear advantage - he has six arms! Granted, he also has bright blue skin, but he is otherwise not terribly abnormal; his cooking skills are superb, though, and his multidexterity has made him an invaluable member of the culinary staff.
Metagame Knowledge: Rudolph's species is usually much more inclined to tormenting the masses; Rudolph is just one of the mild-mannered ones that prefers baking.
Current Status: Armed and ready for cooking.
In-Game Knowledge: Jessica is one of the people who works in the Wingman position; however, she is taking over Escovar's old weekend shift so that Escovar can fill Bart's weekday shift while he recovers.
Current Status: Gainfully employed.
In-Game Knowledge: Nathan and Gary are the two Wingmen of the club, generally alternating shifts so as not to become too overworked.

The Techie Squad
In-Game Knowledge: The Techies were formerly employed by the Guardians at the International Broadcasting Center during the Summer Olympics of 2012. However, rather than let them die in the terrorism, the group brought them back to the Requiem, where they are now gainfully employed as professional hackers.
Current Status: Upgraded, but still not dating.
In-Game Knowledge: Beverly is the maintainer and creator of the 'Buffy, the Slayer of Vampires' fan site, www.buffyfans.net. She is also a secretary for Gherman Affiliates, Matrimonial Legal Services.
