The
Requiem is a club that caters to
the finest in dark refinements. With a selection of New York's hottest
underground bands, a competent security staff, well-lit parking areas,
arguably the best sound system and stage in SoHo, a large dance floor,
and a strict no-violence, no-drugs policy, the Requiem has managed to
corner the SoHo nightclub market in this chaotic time when other
businesses are struggling to remain open after hours. The Requiem
promises a safe place to get away from one's worries and fears, and
just spend your night carousing with old friends or making new ones.
Rules
of the Club:
1. This is no Fight Club. Any
disputes and conflicts are to be dealt
with quietly; those who cannot abide by this rule will be ejected from
the club (your cover charge will not be refunded) and in extreme cases
will be banned from the club permanently, in addition to any legal
action that may be incurred as a result of violent activities.
2. Under no circumstances will
we tolerate the use, sale, distribution,
or carrying of any form of illegal drug or explosive material, or
anything which threatens the safety of club customers or employees.
Those who violate this rule will be banned from the club permanently,
and the Requiem will fully cooperate with any law enforcement
investigation related to the aforementioned.
3. The Requiem serves a variety
of alcoholic and non-alcoholic
beverages. As a result, all customers will be checked for legal ID upon
the ordering of any alcoholic beverage. Our security staff will also
assist inebriated drivers in acquiring a taxi ride home; we do not
support the practice of drunk driving, and recommend that you appoint a
designated driver or be prepared to take a taxi home if you are
planning on drinking heavily. Our parking lots are well lit and
monitored for the safety of our employees and customers and their
vehicles.
4. The Requiem reminds all
customers that practices considered
dangerous or harmful to the safety or health of customers or employees
is forbidden, and as such security staff will warn or eject people
engaging in such practices, in addition to any legal action that may be
incurred as a result.
5. The Requiem reserves the
right to add other rules and policies as
deemed necessary to the safety, enjoyment, and health of its customers,
and requires the customers understand this and agree to it as a
condition of entering. Long-term customers will be notified of any
changes in policy that might negatively affect them upon entry.

serve you any drink that they know how to prepare, and have the
materials to make. If you want a mixed drink, just ask! Here are a few of our new local favorites:
Bloodlust - A fruity cocktail that looks very bloody, served in a
plastic wineglass or a pitcher. Nonalcoholic.
Suicide - An unholy mixture of Cherry Cola, Mountain Dew, and Orange
Slice that has a powerful caffiene kick.
Honey Trap - A mix of rum, apple juice, and honey in a shotglass; not for the weak of heart.
Crimson Virgin - Fruit punch and ginger ale, mixed in a glass.
Fruity Boytoy - A mix of fruit punch, flavored wine coolers, and apple juice, with a small piece of melon and a paper umbrella.
Shut Up and Lick Me - A not-quite-solid Jello and rum shot, available in a shotglass in cherry, grape, lemon, or lime flavors.

The Requiem is also proud to announce that it has entered the media world with the release of its own brand of publishing and recording. Merchandise and records from bands featuring at the Requiem is available through our music outlet, Requiem Records. Print, posters, and other publications are available through Requiem Written Word.
Twilight Hall Productions
The Requiem would also like to express its commitment to the glory of Broadway with the opening of its theater wing, Twilight Hall. Currently auditions are being held for 'Spamalot' and 'Rocky Horror Picture Show', and performances are expected to begin in late spring.
