Julius Desmond: Demonslaying Geek

Julius Desmond started out as the low guy on the high school popularity chain, picked on and pushed around by his fellow students to the point of being meek and unassuming whenever possible. His best (and only) friend, Keith Dicks, tried to kill him after going a little psychotic due to that whole wish thing - and that's when Julius's life took a turn for the better. Beautiful Bambi LaRue took a liking to him, and he suddenly found himself with a very attractive girlfriend and a growing circle of friends. Just when things were looking great, Bambi got a new Watcher, and promptly dumped Julius to hoist her legs for the new guy in town. Abandoned and alone for a while, Julius became bitter and cynical... and, surprisingly, more competent and willing to engage in combat. His parents are worried that he's getting into trouble -- but they have no idea that it involves his potential destiny as a slayer of demons. Who says that the only Slayers in town are female?
